The KidKraft Ridgemoor Perch Swing Set is a two-story wooden backyard play structure designed to spark imaginative outdoor adventure for up to 10 children aged 3 to 10. Measuring 16.5 feet long by 11.3 feet wide and standing 10.1 feet tall, it delivers impressive vertical presence with a distinctive crow’s nest at the very top that gives children a genuine sense of elevation and achievement when they reach the highest point of the structure. The two-story playhouse at the base features a door and a role play kitchen with accessories, creating a dedicated imaginative play space at ground level that encourages creative and social play alongside all the physical climbing and sliding activities higher up.
Getting to the upper levels is part of the fun, with a rock wall ladder providing an engaging and physical climbing challenge that builds strength and confidence progressively as children master it over time. Once at the top, a wave slide and a twisty tunnel slide offer two very different descent experiences, giving kids the choice of a classic open run or the more exciting enclosed spiral drop. Two belt swings and an acrobar extend the play options further for children who want to focus on swinging and aerial activity rather than climbing, ensuring the structure keeps the entire group active and entertained simultaneously.
The premium wood is naturally rot and insect resistant and arrives treated with a water-based stain that includes UV and mold protection for long-term outdoor durability across changing seasons. The treatment helps the structure hold up against rain, sun, and humidity without premature deterioration, though KidKraft recommends periodic seasonal maintenance to keep it in top condition. Professional installation service is available as an optional add-on, and assembly instructions are provided in both English and French with an average build time of 12 to 18 hours recommended for two people working together.
